High grade cannabis, $18,000 in cash seized

An order for chicken wings and a two-liter soda inadvertently led to one of the largest cash seizures made by the Perry Police Department (PPD) in recent years as well as the discovery of nearly one pound of high end cannabis with an estimated street value of $4,000.

One arrest has been made in the case and more are anticipated as the investigation continues, PPD Capt. Gene Franklin said.
